Established in 2010, we are an independent funeral directors based in Edinburgh. We are committed to providing personal, respectful and meaningful services tailored to each family's wishes, ensuring your loved one is honoured in the way they deserve. 

In 2022, ownership was passed to Christine Simmonte and Colin Anderson, marking a new chapter of McGillivray Funeral Directors.

Christine Simmonte is the owner of C&A Funeral Services, an independent and family-run business in Prestonpans

Colin Anderson owns and operates C.W. Anderson & Sons in Bo'ness which is also independent and family-run.

With their combined experience and commitment to family-run business, the new owners are focused on building on the strong foundations already established, while continuing to provide the high standards of service and personal approach that families have come to expect.

We offer a range of services from traditional funerals to cremation and memorial services that meet the unique needs of each family we support. We can also assist with floral tributes, printed orders of service and home visits if required at a time that suits you and your family.
